This article discusses the lubrication of the Philips fully automatic coffee maker EP1221, mainly recording the lubrication of the three main components of the brew group(brewing kit). Figures 1 and 2 show the general process.

0. Lubricant Preparation
According to [1], HD5061 lubricant is used.

1. Piston Lubrication
As shown in Figure 3, apply lubricant to the piston.

2. Lubrication Around the Piston
As shown in Figure 4, facing the bottom of the brew group, apply lubricant around the piston, mainly in the small grooves.

3. Lubricating the Guide Rails(Railing)
As shown in Figures 5 and 6, apply lubricant to the guide rails on both sides. Pay attention to the moving parts and make sure to apply lubricant to the entire guide rail.

4. Post Maintenance
Align the round yellow knob of the brew group with the mark and install it back into the coffee maker.
